Travel Reggae in Indonesia
Reggae, as etnomusikolog Jacob Edgar, is a type of music that easily adapt to diverse cultural environments.
Reggae music actually has long echoed in Indonesia around the beginning of the year 1980, with the emergence of the band Abreso Reggae Night Reggae on the show at the Taman Impian Jaya Ancol.
In 1986 a band of young men all personnel from Papua was never performing on Christmas Island for three months initiated by Yorries Raweyai. In 1984 Abreso ever recorded Reggae songs.
In addition, still in the era of the 1980s there was the song “Reggae Dance” sung by Nola Tilaar musical accompaniment by Willie Teuguh.
